El Dorado
County is located 45 miles east of the city of Sacramento. The principle communities are Placerville and South Lake
Tahoe. In addition, the
county has several large unincorporated areas, including Cameron Park,
El Dorado Hills. The
population of the county is 120,000.
The El
Dorado County Bar Association was established in 1972 when local
attorneys joined together to promote the legal profession and improve
the skills of attorney’s in the area. Currently, the association has
over 80 practicing attorney in membership covering areas of practice
from criminal law to probate to estate planning.
Joining
the El Dorado County Bar Association is easy and open to all members
of the legal profession. Individual
dues at $40.00 per year.
